In early September, our leadership team and department managers gathered for two days of strategic planning. What is strategic planning? It's the process of identifying and implementing key changes that will move the company forward. These improvements ensure that ProTec continues to evolve into a better workplace and achieves greater success. We recognize that change can be challenging, but we're committed to it because ProTec has the potential to grow from a regional to a national company. However, before we expand, there’s significant work to be done. We need to implement new systems in Trainual and ProTec Connect and focus on making ProTec a company where employees love to work. Each month, we set around five goals, which we call "Priorities," for the upcoming quarter. Our six new Q4 priorities are:
- #1 THING: We have achieved one month of PBT greater than 10% SAFELY!
- We tested new (2-tech) CAMP model in 2 departments, with X steps of CAMP execution documented
- The ProTec hiring forecast model is ready for use on Jan 1, 2025
- All technicians and AM’s trained on new receipts process, resulting in less than 5% missing receipts
- Safety KPI’s and accountability methods used across each department resulting in 0 work comp claims
- CEC role is functioning in North County, OC, IE and LA with 2025 plan approved by the executive team. If you are curious about any of these goals just ask your manager and he’ll explain them in detail.
